File this one under, "Why didn’t I think of that earlier?".

TikTok is known for dance challenges, memes and zany videos that add a touch of whimsy to our daily lives.

I mean, just look at this hilarious clip (you'll have to turn the sound up for this one).

However, the social media platform has also been known to hold a treasure trove of useful life hacks, like how to curl your hair using a water bottle or seal a bag of chips without a clip.

Watch and learn:

Now, here’s one more hack to squirrel away.

Recently, one user’s trick to folding away your bulky and heavy jeans went viral, garnering more than two million views.

The three-step method basically entails laying your jeans flat on the bed and folding each leg up in thirds, before folding it in half. Et voila!

The grateful comments soon came pouring in.

Some even suspected that the user might have worked in retail (she has never), but even a former retail assistant was full of praise for the novel method.

As observed, the hack also seemed to make the stack of jeans thinner and easier to store.

But if you belong to the Marie Kondo school of tidying up — which advocates folding clothes such that they 'stand' in your drawer — then this method is probably not for you.

But judging by the number of views @alifestyleforall’s video has gotten, many (like us) probably thought it was an eye-opener.
